Well, hello there!
It’s been quite a while since I last posted anything… many apologies!
I’ve had trouble thinking of anything that I could post, and am still going through a writer’s block of sorts…
I’ve recently heard some kind and encouraging words from one of my friends that really motivated me to try and post here more, so here I am! Waiting for inspiration to strike!
I suppose this place will be somewhere where I’ll upload pictures I’ve taken, drawings I’ve done, and thoughts and things from me, Daddy’s Sweetheart 😉
I’d update you on all the things that have happened over the summer, but I fear that there aren’t many exciting things for me to tell you, as my life is fairly… normal?
Then again, I’m a homeschooled Pastor’s daughter that’s going into a public school environment for her last year, soooo…..
There should be quite a few things “out of the norm” that I’ll be able to write about!
Where to even start??
This summer has been very eventful for me, full of camp, trips, picnics, and more!
My family and I spent most of it at the campground, helping out for the first few weeks, then going to the Sr. High camp and attending services for the next three!
Camp is and always has been a huge part of life. It’s practically a second home to me. It’s not as big as other camps, but I love it anyways! 🙂
And don’t even get me started on our chocolate milk. I’m not kidding when i say that it’s the best there is. Ask anyone that has attended our camp and they will tell you that it’s absolutely amazing!
If we ever got rid of it, I’m sure there would be a riot.
We went up to the UP this past weekend for a conference and had an amazing time with friends! I got to go visit the beach and take some pictures (which I will upload later) and collect sea shells! The Great Lakes are so amazing and beautiful…. if you’ve never seen any of them before, I highly recommend it!
A couple weeks ago we had our church Back-To-School picnic! It was a great success! I had so much fun helping out with face painting and action songs! The kids didn’t really get into it, but the ones that did were so cute and so excited!!
When we were painting faces, they all seemed to gravitate more towards superheroes like Captain America, Hulk, Spider-Man, and Iron Man… ‘course, being a superhero fan, I didn’t have much of a problem with that!
I’ve pretty much covered nearly everything that has happened (in the shortest way I could).
To those that have taken the time to read this far, thank you! And I’ll try to upload as often as I can, depending on wether or not I can come up with something! 🙂
Yours,
Kelsea Jones
I was having a restless night and thought I’d check out FB, and saw your post. :). I have to agree about the chocolate milk at camp!!! It’s good to see you posting again. Love you!
