Progress is hard.
Crazy right??? Who would have figured???
Here’s the thing though. Progress is still progress! It’s a journey that we have to take one step at a time, one day at a time, and one challenge at a time.

When I start to go into a tailspin, spiraling into anxiety-driven thoughts and panics, I’ve found it easier and easier to remind myself to look at how far I’ve come in the past year. How far I’ve even come in the past month! .
Getting there is hard, yes. But when you’re there, you can look back and say “I’ve made it this far! What’s a few more steps of progress!”

Every anxiety attack is a step of progress because I’m learning from the last one what to do and what not to do.

Moral of the story: Progress is worth the journey.
